The Mum Club was set up by Jess and Lauren to bring mums together. They decided to run an Express Chocolate Making Workshop on Thursday 9th February for the local mums in Altrincham, Cheshire. The event was held at a most beautiful venue, the "Rocket and Orange Cafe". The Valentine themed evening was very well received by all the mums who took part. Loreto Preparatory School is an independent Catholic primary school for girls aged 3 to 11 years. The school is based in Altrincham, Cheshire in the most beautiful surroundings and right next door to the Loreto Grammar School for secondary education. As part of their studies the year 6 girls had been involved in learning about chocolate including topics such as the history of chocolate, the production process from bean to bar through to designing their own brand of chocolate and how they would take this to market.

In January Chocolate Collective hosted a Special Children's Chocolate Workshop at Broadbent Fold Primary School in Dukinfield, Cheshire with a class of year one pupils. The workshop was based on our Children's Chocolate Party theme presented in an educational way to tie in with the school's project to learn all about chocolate.
